Josh Cullum, originally from Green City, Missouri, is a low brass performer and teacher in the greater Washington, DC area. He has been a trombonist with the USAF Ceremonial Brass since 2009. He is also a member of the Barclay Brass and performs with the USAF Airmen of Note. Just prior to joining the Air Force, Josh participated in the 2008 Bar Harbor Brass Festival. He has performed with the Kansas City, Richmond, Roanoke, Syracuse, Vermont, and New World Symphonies, as well as the Malaysian Philharmonic and Rochester Philharmonic. He holds degrees from the Yale School of Music and the Eastman School of Music and, in 2006, was the winner of the Potomac Festival Euphonium Competition. Josh’s teachers have included Matt Vaughn, Craig Mulcahy, Scott Hartman, Mark Kellogg, John Marcellus, and Kyle Covington.
